Our student network started with LSE, ranked the top university in the UK by The Times. Situated in the heart of London, LSE is unique in being a university "part of the real world", and boasts a cosmopolitan student body from more than 140 countries, and 70% of students coming from around the world. Since then, we have expanded to Cambridge, UCL and King's.

How does Catapult find interns for my company?
We go through official student societies, LSE networks, and academic departments. Through targeted outreach, we connect with high-achieving, driven students who are keen to gain hands-on experience.
What kind of projects can I get interns to help with?
The best projects are those that are meaningful to your company and insightful to students as well. This could range from helping with putting together pitch decks, market research, attending business meetings, to helping out on a seaweed farm!
What is the typical duration of the internships?
We typically ask students to commit 30 hours over a month. We can tailor the duration, or form a group of interns to tailor to your project's needs.
What salary are the interns expecting?
This will vary based on the preferences of the company and intern, however, our interns range from working on an work experience basis to £18 an hour.
How does Catapult keep the lights on?
If you're new to our network, Catapult is free for the first intern placed. For subsequent projects, we ask companies for a small contribution to our network. This helps keep us running!
What if the intern isn’t the right fit?
If an intern isn’t the right fit, we’ll work with you to find a better match. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial experience for both your company and the student.

We're happy to hear the internship was productive for both parties! If you'd like to extend the internship, or even hire the student over the holidays/after graduation, we'd be happy to facilitate that.
